year. Enrollment is limited and many campers return for additional sessions, so be sure to enroll early!
Ask about the I.Q. Camp where you can enroll individually

Basketball Summer Camp
Participating in basketball summer camps is one of the best ways to fine tune your technique and achieve your best shot. The focus on
breaking down techniques for analysis with drills and repetition provides great opportunity to hone your skills for ball control and
manoeuvring while having fun with your fellow classmates. This focused repetition and analysis is essential in fine tuning muscle
memory to the point that these techniques become completely involuntary over time with practice.
For example dribbling or topping the ball has to be unlearned. In a straight line it works but it must evolve
to be coordinated with your quick moves from hand positions on the sides of the ball and is where basketball summer camp comes into focus.
With guided practice and repetitive drills you can make these complicated moves involuntary and muscle memory takes over. Just as you can move
your hands and legs with closed eyes.

|
Because the body is used to such moves it sends out the signal for involuntary movement. Similarly with
practice at basketball summer camp the brain gets so familiar with these moves. The player can execute such high levels of coordinated and
involuntary moves only through the help of muscle memory. This muscle memory is developed through repetitive practice and technique drills.
You’ll know when your game is on. The shots come easier and this is because of muscle memory. Complicated moves and coordination will feel
more natural. In absence of muscle memory players will lose performance by watching themselves and consciously trying control the
basketball at every bounce.
