Robert Wagner

Bob has more than 40 years of teaching, coaching, and camping experience. As a former camp owner and director, he has gained expertise in all facets of camp operations. A former prep coach at Northwestern, Good Counsel, St. John’s and Gonzaga, Bob was an assistant coach on the Catholic University's 2001 Division III National Championship team. He has been described by esteemed DeMatha High School Coach Morgan Wootten as “one of the most knowledgeable teachers of the game.”

Our large staff will provide campers with small group and personalized instruction. Our staff members have had the experience of either coaching or playing at all levels, ranging from high school through the professional ranks.

Milt Kline

After retiring as director of Sure Shot Basketball several years ago, Milt Kline has gotten the itch to be back in game. With the encouragement of one of my former player s Bob Wagner, he is excited to be part of this scenario.

He has been involved with basketball all of his life. He started coaching when I was 18. IHe coached four Baltimore City Championship teams who rarely lost. In addition, some of his players won two South Atlantic AAU championships.

In Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties, Milt was fortunate to win many county championships, with five of his teams going undefeated. He was an owner and director of three different basketball camps, one of which was Sure Shot Basketball Camps. With Sure Shot, he was a founder, administrator, and director. He was also fortunate to be a partner of Hall of Famer Dave Bing's All Pro Basketball Camps. Milt also directed Ramblewood Basketball Camps in Northeast Maryland where he featured Wes Unseld, Kevin Porter, John Lucas, Buck Williams, Morgan Wooten, Tom McMillen, and recent Hall of Famers, Ralph Sampson and Celtic great Sam Jones, and the late Marvin “the human eraser" Webster.

Phil Chenier

Best Swishes Basketball is thrilled to have Phil Chenier as its featured staff member. Most of you surely know Phil as the voice of the Washington Wizards. Phil brings incredible talent and experience to the camp. Phil was a great prep star in California and won a scholarship to the University of California. Phil was a member of the Baltimore/Washington Bullets 1978 NBA championship team along with Hall of Fame members Wes Unseld and Elvin Hayes. Phil was a 1974, 1975, 1977 NBA All Star. Phil along with Dave Dupree ran their own camp for 25 years. Best Swishes Basketball Camp is thrilled to have Phil. He will be at camp the entire two weeks.
